RC-WinTrans is a software localization tool for Win32, Microsoft .NET, and Java software development platforms. Originally designed to translate RC files, RC-WinTrans has grown to support Java properties files, Microsoft .NET files, Win32 binary executable (EXE/DLL) files, Windows INI and InstallShield SHL files and XML files. For more than 10 years eminent companies all over the world have relied on RC-WinTrans to produce quality localized versions of their software. The Global Edition includes the complete and full-featured RC-WinTrans X8 localization environment designed for use by both project managers and translators. Primary qualities include: organizational features that simplify work with multiple files, multiple projects, and multiple translators; specialized checks and data views that address the unique circumstances of software localization and eliminate unnecessary errors; integrated use of dictionaries and translation memories that support the translation process; and automated processes that facilitate the localization process overall. This edition also comes with the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) integrated development environment and accessible (open) system macros for advanced customization options.
